New Year, New Cars, New Drivers And Junior Is Back!
Dale Earnhardt Jr. was the story of the second half of last year's season and most of the off season what with not winning a race since 2006, his public split with DEI, and subsequent signing with Hendrick Motorsports. Take that Teresa! Junior drove a great race and demonstrated again his prowess at the superspeedways like Daytona and Talladega. He ran up front most of the night, his team executed a flawless pit stop which brought him out in second in the 50 lap finale, and he ran clean and hard with teammates and competitors alike. It was amazing to see Junior, JJ, and Jeff Gordon freight training the high line and keeping Earnhardt at the front. The race had it's rough moments with a mini-big one in the 50 lap second segment which sidelined four cars (Truex, McMurray, Gilland, and Biffle).
Dermatologists can offer top tips to help keep lips in tip-top shape
In fact, several types of foods, cosmetic products, medications or even bad habits have been linked to dry lips. The key is determining the source of the irritation and modifying your daily regimen to eliminate the problem. Speaking at the 66th Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology, dermatologist Margaret E. Parsons, MD, FAAD, assistant clinical professor of dermatology at the University of California at Davis, discussed the most common causes of lip irritation, available treatments and preventative measures to keep lips healthy. 'When I treat a patient for dry lips, the first thing I try to determine is what this patient might be doing or not doing that could be contributing to the problem,' said Dr Parsons. 'In some cases, it might be a new lipstick that contains an ingredient irritating to the skin or an anti-ageing facial product that inadvertently comes in contact with the lips that could be the culprit.

It turned out to be a challenge to get very worked up one way or the other about Casio's Exilim EX-V7 , a camera that balances out to be an almost perfectly average point-and-shoot. On the plus side, the 7x zoom lens covers a lot of territory, and the camera's battery life of almost 1,195 shots per charge is exceptional for its class. (The Nikon Coolpix S50c [ ] holds the lowest score, with 347 shots per charge; Samsung's NV11 [ ] performed best, achieving 1,233.) Throw in a few points, too, for a full range of manual exposure controls, a rarity in this category. On the mildly annoying side, there's the zoom slider control, which is awkwardly placed adjacent and vertical to the LCD screen. Also, image stabilization proved too ineffective in most situations. And the plastic docking cradle, required to recharge the battery, will take up more room in a suitcase than most folks would care to sacrifice.
Prayer and healing
In some cases, the healing can be manifested in a physical sense.
Dennis Smith, 61, of rural Harrisburg severely injured his left calf in a work accident in 2005. The tissue healed, but he suffered from a constant itching sensation under the skin. The nerves were damaged, and no medication or cream relieved the feeling. He heard about the healing service and decided to go, even though he's a member at the First Assembly of God Church.
"My faith makes me believe that there is a healing power from the Holy Spirit to our earthly body as well as spiritual body. I went to get relief from the infirmity, believing that relief could be had," he says. During the service he went to the altar and knelt before the minister.
"Pastor Barb anointed me with oil, laid hands on my head and shoulders and prayed for my relief."
He didn't get instant relief but noticed days later that the intensity of the feeling was easing.
