Radio & TV Talk
And back in 2004, the show featured Velvet Revolver, Jimmy Eat World, Muse and Keane. Permalink | Comments (7) | 10/30: Q100 needs more letters/ Keyshia Cole By Rodney Ho | Tuesday, October 30, 2007, 06:53 PM The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Q100's Bert Show has fallen about 75,000 letters short of its goal to reach 375,000 hand-written thank you letters for U.S. overseas troops in time for Thanksgiving. They will likely start to send out letters soon anyway, guaranteeing fighting men and women in battle zones such as Iraq and Afghanistan will get letters for sure. But the station would still like to hit 375K and is giving listeners another day or two to get pen and paper out. Host Bert Weiss said he was frustrated they didn't reach the goal but he's hoping people will rally and finish up the final 75,000 by Wednesday.

Ryan: Culture obscures women’s sexuality
We live in a time when talk about sex education is more in-vogue than getting educated, because doing so means talking in detail about what it means to be sexually active. Sex education is a topic that is debated among many demographics, and we have all received — in one manner or another — the “wrap it up" talk. But as it comes time to apply this knowledge as sex becomes part of our lives, we are left to figure out the details on our own. An enormous deterrent in effectively educating about sex is the gender double standard regarding the social acceptability of being openly sexual. The most striking example of this double standard is in commercials that we so easily dismiss. An oral contraceptive commercial for Yaz stars three beautiful women at a cocktail party name-dropping chemical compounds, one of whom was able to attend because of the effects of Yaz.
The Mannings: Football's first family
GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Was cloning involved? A secret laboratory, perhaps? I ask because we're dealing with a situation that is beyond freaky, the concept that two quarterbacking sons of a former NFL quarterback each would win a Super Bowl in successive seasons. The odds of this happening are considerably more remote than even the Giants toppling the Patriots, turning our focus to the patriarch. Want to try explaining this, Archie Manning? .
Voters flock to polls on historic Super Tuesday
Democrats Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton ran neck-and-neck on Super Tuesday as John McCain vied to seal the Republican race in the biggest coast-to-coast White House nominating clash in history. Turnout was set to be high as New Yorkers kicked off the 24-state primary bonanza which rippled across the country, with the last polls set to close in California at 0400 GMT, and Alaska around 0500 GMT Wednesday. In the first state to report, ordained Baptist preacher Mike Huckabee got an early boost by winning the Republican caucuses in West Virginia with 51 percent of the vote over 47 percent for former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney. But the day was yet young, and everything was left to play for. Senator Clinton, 60, voice husky from fatigue, has vowed to fight on as opinion surveys picked up a surge by Obama, the 46-year-old Illinois senator vying for the White House job.

The most obvious thing I note is that loutravieso him/herself hasn't managed to make it all the way through either the Constitution or the Declaration. For that matter, he obviously didn't understand the portion of the Declaration quoted in the article. He advocates arrest and imprisonment based on Ideas. Not to mention that little side trip to HELL. His attitude is in clear violation of the Constitution he challenges US to understand and he espouses the exact sort of behaviour which prompted the founding fathers to commission Jefferson to write the declaration in the first place. .
